Question: Do you believe that when we are born, our destinies are already determined?
Example response: It makes no sense that our destinies are predetermined as soon as we are born. If this were true then why would anyone bother motivating themselves to achieve anything in life? If everyone in this world believed and knew that our destinies were already written in the stars then why bother? Why bother to go to school or behave appropriately or work hard? I am more of the belief that our lives are open fields, free to explore, free to discover, and free to fail.

I truly believe that our destiny is not determine from the moment we are brought to life. If in fact this were true we would know our daily routine and not able to be spontaneous through out life. There would be no point to enjoy and discover life.
ReplyDeleteI think that our destiny is not decided from birth because then we wouldn't have decision and choices in life. We always have options and choices and thats how our destiny is decide based on what we do. Richard Perez
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion nothing is written or determined for our future. Each one of us have the power to chose our own destiny. As we grow up we learn right from wrong and from that we learn what kind of decisions we make. Those decision will determined our destiny.

I believe anyone has the power to determine their own future. If it's either a good one or a bad one. Our destiny is something that could be changed all through out our lives. We can want to do something at one point of our lives but then completely change our minds as we grow up. Life is determined on how you live it. On what choices you make and what how you come about these choices.
ReplyDeleteHmm...But how much control do people have over their lives? Think about that as you respond to the question.
ReplyDeleteI dont believe our destinies were chosen for us the moment we came into this world. If this were true people wouldnt work their butts off to have a better future for themselves; they wouldnt bother working because their "destiny" is already chosen for them. I think that every decision we make has an impact on the next occurring situation, the daily struggles we face determine who we are and what we make of our lives, our futures. It isnt chosen for us, we do it ourselves.
ReplyDeleteNo, I Do not believe that our destinies are determined when we are born. Decisions you make during your life can alter your destiny.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I do not believe our destinies are determined. I don;t believe because we are set out in life to see the thing we are good at and able to succeed in. Also when we are born no one knows what is going to happen, only that certain person(us) know what's going to happen. Our destiny is our own goal in life. Therefore, I do not think our destinies are determined.

I believe our destiny is determined but not set in stone because at any course in life we can make desitions that can alter our destiny. But even then is altering our destiny Part of our destiny?

In my opinion that we have a destiny determined at birth. How we get to it is our own path. I say this because you can always argue that you did something by fate. That serendipity is real along with karma and other things.

I believe that we create our destiny in life because decisions that we make in life can influence and alter our destiny. As we grow older we begin to learn our right from wrong which determines decisions we make. I believe our destiny is created by our attitude, thoughts and actions made in life. Each one of us have the power and strength to choose our destiny in life as we grow older

I think that evryone has a certain purpose in life. Whether you grow up to work at a supermarket or become a superstar its your choices that got you there. Its a very contradictive topic but one just makes more sense than the other. I believe in making your own destiny. ironic things happen all the time to everybody, that doesnt mean its always meant to be.

I believe that you make your own destiny, whatever it was that you chose to do in your past will eventually be reflected in your future. Everything will eventually catch up with you one way or another, but most of the time things dont go the way you expect them to go but thats just a part of life.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion Nothing is already planned out for us. I think were ever you are now is because of you. Not destiny. If you killed some one and ended up in jail would that be your destiny? It because you choose to do that. i think that life is not planned out for you.

I believe that our destinies are indeed pre-determined. Everything that happens, happens for a specific reason, which leads up to our future. everything is put together and planned by a greater power and I believe in soul mates which are predetermined, which must mean that our destinies are predetermined.

I do believe in the fact that our destinies are already written. We just don't know it yet. I also believe that our life stories are already written as well. That every decision we make or anything we do leads us to who we are supposed to be. I also believe that what your supposed to be is already known , we just don't see it and we spend our whole lives trying to figure it out.
ReplyDelete-Stephanie Castillo
No I do not believe our destiny is already determined because everything happens for a reason. If our destiny was already determined then why do we get in trouble for our actions. Our actions is what makes our destiny in my opinion.
