- Students will be assigned a topic to cover: Local, National, World, Health, Entertainment, Sports, and Technology.
- Students will research interesting articles to report on.
- Once a student has found a story, it must be approved by the teacher before continuing.
- The student must write two paragraphs answering the following questions:
- Who are the important people involved?
- What is the story and the background story?
- When did it happen?
- Where did it happen?
- Why is this happening and why is it important?
- The student must then include two pictures for review.
- Students will then add the story into the newspaper template themselves.
- This is due on Monday, July 22 at the end of the day.

- Articles should fully answer all the questions above in a compelling manner.
