Summer School Day 12

1) Take the vocabulary test.

2) Begin reading "A Good Man is Hard to Find," by Flannery O'Connor.  It is shared with you on your google drive.

3) By the end of the day, you should have completed your works cited, introduction, and thesis statement.  Remember to define PTSD and explain it to your readers.  You should also introduce your veteran and connect PTSD to your veteran.

Veteran's Assignment:  You will be assigned a veteran.  Listen to their story and write a three page report on your assigned veteran.  Here are some of the questions you should answer in paper.
  • What is PTSD? Define and explain it for your readers.
  • Who is your veteran and what is he or she like?
  • Which war did he or she serve in?
  • How did the vet know he or she had PTSD?
  • Was this person treated? How was the treatment?
  • Are there any similarities or differences between Harold Krebs and your veteran?
Requirements:
  • MLA format
  • 3 full pages
  • 3 quotations in your paper
  • Works Cited page with at least 2 sources
  • Due on Thursday, July 25 at the end of the day.
