Summer School Day 6

1) Open vocabulary document from google drive.  While reading "A Rose for Emily" we will add more vocabulary terms to our list.

2) Read "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner.

3) Answer "A Rose for Emily Questions" in a new google document titled, "Rose For Emily Questions." Share it with me. Use correct spelling and grammar.  Answer in complete sentences.

4) Read Act III from Titus Andronicus.  The parts should be shared in your google drive.

5) Complete your research paper.  

6) Read the following articles in the NY Times on rape and sexual assault.

Answer the following question in a new google document titled, "Rape Explained." 

• In a five paragraph expository essay, explain why rape occurs.  
• Conduct some research, cite some facts and statistics, and inject your own opinions with strong real-life examples.  
• Use the MLA format. 
• You should have a works cited page.
• Spelling and grammar count
• Your paper should be a minimum of 2 full pages.

This assignment is due on Thursday, 18 July by the end of the school day.
