Summer School Day 8

1) 5 minutes to review your vocabulary terms.  You will then take your vocabulary test.  Your vocabulary test will include all possible vocabulary terms.

2) Read Titus Andronicus Act V.  It will be shared with you in your Google Drive.

3)  Work on your five-paragraph essay on sexual violence. Use the below articles to assist you in your writing.Read the following articles in the NY Times on rape and sexual assault.

By the end of today you should have a Works Cited Page document with at least 4 sources in the MLA format.

Answer the following question in a new google document titled, "Rape Explained." 

• In a five paragraph expository essay, explain why rape occurs.  
• Conduct some research, cite some facts and statistics, and inject your own opinions with strong real-life examples.  
• Use the MLA format. 
• You should have a works cited page.
• Spelling and grammar count
• Your paper should be a minimum of 2 full pages.

This assignment is due on Friday, 19 July by the end of the school day.
